Here you can find out latest news on project 'Vertex' which is new operating system. It's design is based on metro design which is clean and simple. Great feautre about it is Alex, virtual voice assistant who will help you with anything. Updates to it will come faster, and they will be better which will make experience much much better than you could ever imagine.

Lock screen

This is your lock screen. Here you can login or use some of powerslide options...and that's all. Wallpaper can be changed, just so you know :D

Desktop

Here is your desktop. Similar to many OS you may think that this is just like another, but not that much. Unlike many of them this one is better. Better in what? Well, everything :)

Bars

Quick Pad

This bar will give you quick access to certain actions that you might preform, such as search, alarm, or activating lock screen so no one can see what you're doing.

Notifications (on the right)

Here you will get notifications from many social sites or even from your messaging centre.

You will see 'You have new notification from (something) ' and you'll be informed by Alex.
Beside that, there will be other, aditional notifications regarding the system or something else.

Libraries

Unlike most of them, this one is made using metro style so it's simple and clean. You have six options, and you can navigate through them. (to be continued)

Control Panel

Here you can manage more options, depending on what you want. There are only few, but they are important for your PC, so no more needed to be honest.

Each of them gives you a lot more features so you can choose what you want.

Applications

As you can see here are all of your apps. There are several groups:
Applications - is where are preinstalled apps can be found (such as calculator, etc.).

Vertex Office - were you can find various programs that will help you with certain thing (don't know better way of saying it). So there is Writter, Math, Base, etc. all made for you so you can easily do your daily job.
Multimedia - as you may have quested, it's for things such as player, movies, etc.
Games - now, there will be some preinstalled games, but mainly that part is for those games out there.
User apps - for your stuff.
Of course, this 'window' will change from time to time, new groups will be formed, more space and so on to make it the best experience there is.

My computer

Here you can manage folders and other things that are installed on your computer. Depending on how much hard disks do you have, there will be more icons.

There are three parts of it:

Hard disk drives - like I've wrote above.
Devices with removable storage - is for CD/DVD or USB or even Floopy drive.

Aditional - is for your phone, depending on what phone do you have.

Simple, right :)

Quick bar

Here you can access certain action, depending on what you want.

Home will abort all the actions and return you to desktop.

Bing will activate 'Type & Voice' search using Bing.

Settings will open Control Panel
The last but none the least allows you to change wallpaper.
